Golfclub Lenzerheide was founded in 1951 and is one of the earliest alpine golf clubs in Graubünden, created at a time when the Lenzerheide region was expanding its tourism offering beyond winter sports. Over the decades, the club has preserved its natural, understated course design while steadily modernizing its facilities, including the opening of a new clubhouse in 2014. Today it is regarded as a small jewel among Swiss mountain courses, known for its blend of tradition, scenic beauty, and relaxed hospitality.
What makes the club special is the way it combines an authentic alpine landscape with a course that rewards precision and thoughtful play rather than sheer power. Set at around 1,400 m in open pine forest, the layout feels natural and harmonious, with few artificial features and a subtly links‑like character despite its mountain setting. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, shaped by its identity as a holiday‑destination club, and the surrounding scenery gives every round a sense of calm and escape.
